Restoration Project

St Mary’s Church,
Hampton – Grade II Listed

We carried out the sensitive restoration of this Grade II listed Church in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.

This project consisted of a bird cage scaffold constructed throughout the entire church to enable access to all walls, ceilings and stone work.

The main aspect of the project was the plastering of the walls and ceilings throughout, with traditional 3 coat lime plaster.

The repair of the tracery windows was carried out using lime based Portland premix throughout.

A brand new lighting system was installed and finally the redecoration of the entire church was carried out using White and Oxford Blue to replace the previous pale green and cream colours.
